The Holidays,

I began the day by trying to write an open letter to Mrs Kringle in efforts to change the course of quite a few of my  holidays.  To many it may seem as if I may be over reacting but let me give you a brief timeline of what I have received over the years:

I am DETERMINED to have my 2014 Holiday season turn around and what better time to do so than on one of the biggest shopping weeks of the year. I have searched high and low and have come up with quite a few suggestions that may help you and I have a spectacular haul this season..check them out!

Beauty-1

First on the list is a great moisturizer. When you are looking for the perfect fit , make sure that you pick one that has great NATURAL ingredients and a great scent. The last thing you want to do is gift the lotion that smells like tiger-balm. One of my favorite moisturizers is the Almond Cookie Frappe by Carols Daughter ($12.60). What’s great about this lotion is that it has active ingredients Grape-seed and Rice Bran Oil to help you lock in moisture and maintain a glowing and youthful skin.

If you’re looking to show her or me that you’ve really been doing your homework on some great products then you may want to check out La Prairies “Skin Caviar” cream ($410). The price is high but this moisturizer is arguably one of the best reviewed products on the market giving you not just a glow but also minimizes pores and impurities from your skin.

Jackie Goneze

My name is Jackie Goneze and I am a twenty year old junior at St. John’s University with a major in Psychology and a minor in creative writing. Born and raised in Brooklyn, I was presented with ample opportunities to broaden my horizons growing up. My childhood consisted of many trips to the famous museums that are unique to NYC, Broadway Theaters, Libraries and historical landmarks. From that my love of the arts and history sprouted. Today you can find me mostly on the MTA commuting to school armed with a novel or a sketch book, most days both.
